Year End Trip 2005 (Day 16):: Guangzhou 广州

Guangzhou 广州 – Last Day

Breakfast, auntie Beng Choo brought us to a place to eat Chee Cheong Fan 猪肠粉. It was very good! The porridge was good too! Then we had dessert of Ginger Milk opposite the road. It was milk curdled at a specific high temperature with ginger taste. We went to West of the Train Station 站西 to shop after which. That was the place I bought jeans and shirts the last time. However, it seemed that business there was not as good as before. So, we went on to a new place – Scholars’ Place 状元坊. This street was damn fashionable. It had so much shopping here. I loved it, but the problem was that my bag was sooooo packed, that shopping was really not a good idea. In the end, I bought another bag and no more worries about the luggage (except when returning back to Singapore from Shanghai. Leave that to worry next time!)

This ends the account of the entire 17 days of travel across 3 provinces. I really enjoyed myself no matter how much I complained along the way. It was definitely one of the most memorable experiences that I have had to date. It was also great to have min chuan and huijing as travel companions. You both were the best! Open to everything and willing to try everything!
