Guangzhou 广州 – Happy New Year!

After 13 hours of train ride, we arrived in Guangzhou. First thing we did was purchase our return train ticket for the 2nd of January 2006. Xiao Du (my uncle’s driver) came to pick us up and we went to have breakfast a China Plaza. 5 Treasure Wonton Noodles 五宝云吞面 for RMB 9. It was delicious! Subsequently, we went back to Er Sha Island Golden Arch Villa 二沙岛金亚花园 (my uncle’s place) to rest. We showered, we washed our clothes, we did our business case and we slacked. It was finally the luxury part of our tour. We waited for my uncle and auntie to complete their golf game and then headed out for lunch at an Indian Place for Indian food. It was delicious too! As they said, 吃在广州, it was indeed true!

Dinner was at a Teochew restaurant with my uncle’s friend. After dinner, mc, hj and I decided to check out the night life. We dropped off by the Pearl River and slowly walked around. We never went into any club, and eventually walked all the way back to er sha island after 2 hours of walking. We counted down by the river, in peace and quiet. (only mc very busy, lah!)
