Kuala Lumpur :: Francis's Wedding :: Day 1

Went to KL as a weekend trip to attend Francis’s Wedding. 5 of us from the RAS group (Prof Leong, Melvin, Max, Ning Kang, and myself) took a bus (which was quite comfy and went by the 2nd link) all the way to KL. The journey was long due to jam in Singapore and jam also in KL. Jam in KL was a killer.

We reached our hotel (Capitol Hotel) around 5 pm and so only had time to change and then was on our way to the dinner. (Oh managed to stop at Giant across the street to get some white coffee, the kind that someone likes only due to the extra strong milk flavour.)

After the wedding, we headed out for some walk around and ended up at some supper joint and had light snack consisting of Bak Kut Teh, fried frog’s leg, cuttle fish kang kong, etc … Not too bad, but I heard there were much better stalls.

Night market near our hotel

Supper joint, it was a whole street of food

Puduraya Bus Station by night (Not nice!)

Chinatown, too late that the shops were all closing

So, sleep the night away.
