Dubai (Day 5) :: Exhibition Day 3 / Al Safida / Irish Village

Day 3 of the exhibition saw quite a number of clients of ELM come down to check out the booth. There were many interested people who came down to explore opportunities. It was good.

The food on the other hand was dull. There were only 2 place to eat at the centre, a pizza place or Coffee Bean. the pizza place did not really serve very much variety of pizzas and their pizzas were tiny, so we ended up eating at Coffee Bean all the time. I think I had a phobia of eating sandwiches for a while after that.

After the exhibition that day, we went down to this local restaurant called Al Safadi, which was recommended by my dad’s friend’s husband, Charles.

I had grumbling about not getting LOCAL cuisine for so many days, and finally we were having it. The food was good, from the appetizers to the grilled meat, they were all delicious.

After dinner, we went to the Irish Village, recommended by another of my dad’s friend who was also an exhibitor.

It was alittle far out, but the place was very nice. They had a live singer and people were sitting outside under the stars chilling to a glass of beer. Unfortunately, the weather was really abit cold and we were really CHILLing. Anyhow, it was a good way to end the day.
